[The Crossing]

go little guy go

Pretty amusing, i mean, it's obvious at the end that bug is going to die somehow however, it's enjoyable enough to see the credits ending, which i have to admit i wasn't expecting. Good show.

(note: i've decided not to spoil the ending of film to ruin it for anyone.)

Gothic Romance that needs more background

A nice change from the average "blood/drug/nudity" and "mario" combo of most cartoons on this site.

Graphics
The graphics in this cartoon are fairly well done and suit the scenery, i know it's hard but seeing how the arms are just blocks when they are transparent takes away from the otherwise fine drawings in the cartoon

Sound
The sound quality is fine, i can't say i'm a third eye blind fan but i don't think you are either ;). Regardless, oh and mildly amusing shameless plugs for nine inch nail, but why not add actual posters of the group up to support it?

Style
It's a cute story, but it's seemingly more of teenage angst of relationships then a love story. I mean, why are they apart at the begining? it's confusing, i mean they enjoyed each other so much. In one of your transparent flash back scenes it would have been more plot saked if you saw why they broke up in their transparencyness of them all.

Violence
Doesn't really need it. wooh~ N/A

Humor
N/A, unless you consider shameless plugs for NIN filler.

overall a good film, i'd be interested to see more of your work later to see how it develops.

Lol because I could'nt find any decent NIN posters and would'nt look horrable in small format..and theres a more personal side to the fact I used it more then once(its a long story lol)..I left the plot open to generalize the message..I beleave 50% of this peice is i wanted to relate it to ppl without going too much in ruff detail..everyone has there own reasons for breaking up with there gf/bf, or how they got dumped.. so i did'nt wnat an elabrate story to back it..no its not lazyness lol..it just in the presintation.THank you very much for your input man.

A predictable idea, used in several flash toons

Graphics

Overall the graphics are nice especially the background, but why does link say his finger when his whole hand is being bludgeoned? it's a bit hard to understand what Kirby is saying. Nice ending toon. pointless and silly music is good. People could use more facial expressions.

Sounds
I explained this in graphics (for...some reason). It just fix up what links said and make kirby a bit more audible!

Style
A predictable idea used on newgrounds tons of times, aren't we all desensitized by blood now?

Interactivity
It's a movie, so there's no need. it does what's it's supposed to. Make the play back button at the end go to the begining of the film instead of the "play movie" button, nobody likes pushing buttons twice (don't worry, it's a common error i still make. heh)

Humor
once again, very little humor found in it. It's pretty obvious what's going to happen.

[Mario's experiment]

no no no

You seem to have some mild talent in you, but come on man, "Mario does drugs and has sex"? this is the kind of trash that pre-schoolers crap on paper and hand in. Get some taste before you make a film.

Anyways, enough moral gibbling out of the way, you had a fun enough pre-loader which made the loading on my 56K fine, the sound worked, although saying 'fuck' doesn't make anything any funnier, in fact it probably just lowers any expectations for a film. Needlessly bloody shooting in the end, we've all seen bloody mario games, haha, not very original or interesting.

Over all it wasn't very funny. There are far great Mario flashes out there. Get some taste, and better luck next time.

[Smurf Park]

it's called "animation" for a reason.

Graphics - The characters are well drawn with an okay background, but the mouth doesn't really match the voice or how it's being sung. Smurfs don't really sound like that anywho.

Sound - It was sped up chip-munk linkin park. the chipmunks ruined the idea of this being funny by release one to many records. ah well.

Interactivity - buttons work fine, etc. could've used a link to the creators site at the end and the back button is kind of hard to notice down there and looks a bit ugly.

style - not much substance here little animation. a bit boring sorry.

violence - none, doesn't need any. even though it would have made something happen probably.

sorry, it just needs more animation to make it work properly instead of just talking heads. something to grab my attention more.

Interesting

A fairly interesting flash, sort of a "Message Movie" if you will, the graphics worked nicely for the most part even thought this whole film had a sort of dark and pessimistic feel towards it, and the ending wasn't very clear, is the crown a glimmer of hope? it didn't seem like it, but then again, it didn't seem like anything.

This film worked by just skimming the edge of being a bit self-indulgent with it's message and how the messages were being portrayed. Regardless, it's one of the more interesting and unique animations i've seen on newgrounds, and that's all that matters.

[Dawn Of Teh Clocks 2]

it burns

Even though i didn't see the movie, i don't think that will save this animation.

The clocks idea is amusing, but in my view it the voices seemed like a good idea, but dont flow out. The ending is a flat out dissapointment and it's hard to tell what's going when i think i really should've known.

Well, that's all i can say for this one. regardless, keep it up, (and buy a mic. ;) )

Not one of these

Once again, we are dragged into the cliche problems of flash animations. In this case, the being of "let's chop up cute animals" which i think everyone regardless of their flash movies knowledge has seen it done to death.

It's never quite funny anymore, which is too bad because you have a nice sense of animation and fluidity in your work.

The song was appropriate once again, especially how it went quieter at parts. Regardless, this idea is not a good one, i'm sorry.

When you become more inspired, create another!

The plot thin-ens

Well, i'm not sure what you were going for, the music theme seemed interesting but went nowhere sadly.

The characters voices sound quite bored, but then again, the characters look bored so i guess we have a balence there then. Regardless the plot change all of a sudden didn't do much, you seemed a bit uninspired when you made this.

Regardless, i urge you to continue, i can only see you going up from here!

Hmm. . . .

Well, this one had promise at the begining. But once again, i don't see the enjoyment of fart jokes being used that often, it's grade school humor that just isn't funny on any level anymore, especially in this context.

The animation was smooth and the sprites all seemd in working order but you added needless gore, i don't see much humor once again in taking a moderately cute character and tearing them from limb to limb.

You have the talent, i think you can do better then this.

Sorry, just giving you a slice of this all.

K, first off, about the sprites, Acutally I did rip them. I was too late to get the .fla for a start, I've got the sprites stored in a folder on my Hard Drive
So... Hah!
And if you're really bored, you can stop the animation whilst it's playing, and compare my edited sprites, and normal ripped ones to those at VGDC, and you will see that mine are different in colour and edited differently... So Hah.... Again

As for the guy saying there wasn't enough violence:
Yes, there was, the violence was excessive, but you were after action, I understand yes, but still. You were wrong.
The guy who asked how I could take cute characters and tear them apart:

The guy who was actually half normal and said that parodies like this aren't meant to have a plot:
GOOD MAN! YOU UNDERSTAND! WELL DONE!!!
You see, the game Kid Niki didn't have much of a plot anyway, a kid without ninja powers... But he was a ninja. o_O Indeed.
