Clocks + Mr.Zombie = Amusing if anything

Heh, well this is a quick one.

Well designed character sketches on the graphics (i liked the creating of thing you had, always of interest too see how things were made.)
Mr.Zombie's mouth doesn't seem to be matching his voice, i know this can be the most annoying thing in the world to edit in flash, but it really makes things look so much nicer.

I don't understand what you have against clocks, but i think that seperated this from the norm. It had that bizarre anti-clock idea, which should have been shown more (close ups of characters aren't as fun as after being repeated a few times.)

The buttons you made for the images on your character creation page are a bit akward, perhaps you could fix that up?

One thing i'd like to say also mainly is, you got the whole song in, with very quick loading time. Excellent.

Overall fun, just watch out for being a bit too repetitive, i'd like too see what else you can come out with!

Stick men in mario, avoiding mild cliches.

Hmm. Allright, let's get to the complaints first right away, this file is way too huge for such a short animation. Regardless of the amount of frames and other items, too long too wait for such a cartoon is too long.

The graphics were nice, but a bit gorey which may make grade school boys drool for more but it's just something you can't rely on forever in animation. Especially stick figure ones which are repetitive.

The Bullets were a bit over used, how about instead of just random kung fu, we introduce other characters, this is a Mario themed thing, isn't it?

Otherwise, i'm not a fan of stick figure animation, but you did avoid some cliches and take some interesting ideas.

Keep it up, but don't get locked into repetitiveness with thes animations (at least you sided away from the obvious Matrix joke.)

Surprisingly enjoyable

Graphics

The graphics are very nice brought in from vario Nintendo games again. All looking nice, except some appear to need a bit of resizing to make them look just right, but still, this has some really nice graphics. The best being the fade out from Mario's introduction.

Sound
The sound is good, but it's a nice area all around. Mario sound effects are present as well, perhaps a bit too much at times, but overall nothing to complain about.

Interactivity
It's a video not a game. Nice that you can skip ahead to scenes.

Style
Very nicely done. But have a bit of tastefulness, Mario farts in the beginning? it wasn't funny the first time i've seen it and it's getting less and less funny. But in general it's failry fine for a mario parody.

Violence
A bit more violent then the average mario flash cartoon. Which is kind of akward. Gallons of blood make me think of cheezy horror films i've seen. Not that shocking. It probably would have been funnier if their tounges appeared out of the bush and they used something with the eggs they made from the Lakitu's.

Humor
Kind of amusing at points. But the fart joke at the begining really turned me off.

I think it should..be all wavey!

Graphics

A video game parody with very slick animation. Worked great with the music, nice colorful marioesque psychedelic masterpiece. The kid is a nice addition, as it he just blurbs out random things, which suits the music.

Sound

It's a quality glitch-styled remix of the mario theme with tons of hiccups and clicks-and-cuts sounds. Classy and stylish.

Interactivity
None, it's a music video. Fine. heh

Style
You are great at all this animation. One of the better music videos i've seen staring video game characters. Highly enjoyable.

Violence
Harmless koopa-stomping. Nothing more.

Humor
Not the funniest flash cartoon i've seen but it had it's moments. This whole thing was a visual thing though, so it doesn't need it. But of course, we all love the Shy Guy playing playing the horn at the end.

Excellent.

Da Funk.

Graphics

Hmm. I don't know. It's got basic NES characters dancing. Well one's dancing, while the others seem to be doing more of dancing in one spot. For a music video, it's fine. I guess. More backgrounds perhaps though? It's just mostly a blue screen or a rotating background the whole time. The mouth and movements matched the music most of the time, but the words didn't. Words are annoying to do though for videos, so i won't crush anything here.

Oh and great idea to make him look a little jolted when he sings a sort of distorted lyric.

Music
This is one thing that made it work. You picked one of the best songs off the Daft Punk album. Nothing more to say about that one though.

Interactivity
N/A. It's just a music video, so nothing to really dock here.

Style
It's a basic music-video/video game parody. It's nice and fun and harmless. Not nerdy at all either. It's cute, but shouldn't make anyone cringe either though.

Violence
No Violence. Doesn't Need any.

Humor
Nothing terribly exciting. The certain jerky movements and dancing character are amusing a bit on it's own.

Friendship, Again?

Graphics
They are straight out Mortal Kombat 3, which had good enough graphics. I think sometimes it looks like it might have a frame or two missing, but it's minor bickering. Most everything runs smoothly. Nothing to fancy, but for a video game parody it's fine.

Sound
Most sounds that you need are here. How about adding the music of the character selection to the previously named screen? It's fine though, the sound bits are nice and not distorted. It's all pretty clean here.

Interactivity
It all works out, but where's Noob Saibot? Smoke? We all want to see their endings! Heh.

Style
It's a basic video-game parody. Some fairly funny pop-culture references from popular music to video games, and of course to the ever popular "peanut butter jelly time". it's fine, nothing not done before, but nothing terrible.

Violence
Nothing to out there, even less violent then the average Mortal Kombat game.

Humor
Some of it worked quite well, like the Britney Spears parody. Some of it was just name dropping games which worked at times. The reason why the Britney and American Idol ones worked was it wasn't just "oh look. it's Britney." but other characters added in on the fun. So this is why the Michael jackson and J-Lo ones didn't do much for me, but Britney and American Idol worked. Same goes to Earth Worm Jim + Blanca, but the Mario World 2 one was fine. Just trying the for the little more seems to work with these.

It was still enjoyable. You overcame the cliche of being way to nerdy in the video game parody section.

J0'z H3re to stay

Very good. One of my favourites this year.

Graphics
Well, it has the basic Arfenhouse graphics in their pixelyness, or to the quality Furry-based animation, which works, but sort of feels akward after all the arfenhouse styled animation. But it's still quality. The mixture of quality with with less-than quality works fine. Nice Megaman intro and 8-Bit Theatre intro as well.

Sound
Everything's fine here, the little background soundclips aren't around as much as in Arfenhouse one, but there are still a number of good ones including "Don't Worry Blowing up is good for you". Which is the highlight. Reallly bad voice-acting is dead on. Other soundbites like Megaman and Chrono Trigger worked fine.

Interactivity
There's the ocasional hidden thing here and there, trying pausing the video when you see Carmen Sandiego taking a dash across the screen. These things are fun, if you can find them. I'm probably missing more.

Style
Nice bizarre animation which is still fun to watch after repetitive watchings. The videogame references sort of erk me a bit as this video reeks of them, but not so much that it feels completely nerdy. (eg: Chrono Trigger, Punch-Out!!, StarCraft, Final Fantasy I & II, and more). Perhaps cut that out a bit on the next one and more plain Arfenhouse. Overall this is quality though, there isn't much out there that can match this.

Violence
The only thing here of major violence is probably the gory Piakachu (did i spell it right?) which isn't that much of a simple gross-out thing. So it works fine. Otherwise if anyone else gets hurt in this, it's no worse then violence of Mario stomping a Goomba, so it's all around enjoyable.

Humor
One of the rare flash cartoons that makes me laugh out loud at times. Excellent, you've set the bar for all of us.

Fantastic Funk

Great Stuff Neil!

Graphics
You put some more characters that aren't cliche in animations, but you are still in debt to Colin Mochrie. The dancing crocodile worked well, as did the strange Mr.Bean face you found. As well, you included Farchie Archie into the whole deal.

Sounds
Heh, where do you dig up these nuggets? I rap based japanese song worked very well, i'm surprised there aren't more of this in flash animations.

Interactivity
N/A. It's a video.

Style
It moved a bit slow for me at times and was a bit busy sometimes to catch everything, but overall this is a minor complaint compared to lots of trash i've seen. Very Nice still.

Violence
N/A

Humor
Fairly amusing. The best bit is either "Dr.Mankind" as it perfectly sounds like that or the " -- uh..hug! --" as the best transelation in the whole bit.

Nice Stuff

When people who aren't even really into flash animations have seen it, then you know you've made something important. It's got everything you'll need, it may make some viewere cringe due to the overall anime-esque cuteness to it all, but in general it's just minor bickering. This is great. Classy, Tasteful, and overall well done.
